The Soul Is Porous

Among the numerous intricate and beautiful aspects of the human soul, there's one quality that serves all others: the soul is porous. This indicates that besides our hidden strengths and abilities, the soul is also influenced and molded by what's around us. We adopt customs, language, habits, virtues, and vices mainly by absorbing the reality that envelops us. Truly, the essence of life as we perceive it is formed by the inward reception of these external realities.

Thus, the soul, while it is born with innate powers, is also the product of its times and circumstances. Because we live in unprecedented, prophetic times, individuals born during the last five or six decades are impacted not only by the common struggles and joys of life, but also by the unspeakable disasters as they occur around the world.

The Beauty of the Wilderness

When your greatest need is to hear the Father's wisdom, and He isn't saying anything, it can be very discouraging. Years ago, I repeatedly cried out to God for an answer to prayer during one of the lowest points in my life. Every day, I'd pour out my heart (AKA—complaining) and beg God to show me what to do. I'd worship Him; although much of the time I was focused on myself.

Those days were spent spewing complaints, calling out for Jesus to rescue me, and quoting Scripture like it was some magic potion instead of something sacred and personal. They were not some of my finer days. Every unhealed soul wound was jumping up and down, waving its arms, trying to get me to face the fear and doubt God wanted to free me from. I was desperate for an answer to prayer, but my desperation was pushing me to strive for answers. If God wasn't going to help, I'd try to make something happen myself. (He was reaching out to me, but I was stuck in my head.) Desperation led to frustration, and I began suffering from panic attacks for the first time in my life. Jul 22 Week 29 - The Book of Revelation, Part 39 - Rick Joyner

      We must keep in mind that God is as gracious as He can be to all people because He loves all. So, He prefers mercy over judgment. He will bless things done for Him as much as He can, but He will only inhabit what He initiates and what He builds. Much of the book of Revelation is about the conflict between the church God is building and those men are building. Men may attach His name to their works and presume they are building for God when they are really building for themselves. It is similar to the motive the men of Shinar had when they built the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11:4: “And they said, ‘Come, let’s build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let’s make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of all the earth.’”

      Men have never quit trying to build such works to gather people around a project and to make a name for themselves. This is called “Mystery Babylon” in Revelation. This is modeled after the Tower of Babel, where the Lord looked down upon their project and scattered their languages so they could not go on building. In like manner, the Lord looked down on the church men were building in the Middle Ages, saw their folly in trying to bring the kingdom of God to earth by their might and power— by their swords rather than by His Spirit—so He scattered their languages. I feel the compassion of the Lord for several in the Body of Christ who are going through unjust cycles of pain and torment from the enemy, even when they have stood firm and steady in their faith. I believe this is a season where the book of remembrance is being opened for God's faithful ones, for the time has come for their reward and justice.

Fairly recently, the Lord gave me a dream where a powerful scene of redemption played out from beginning to end. I was in awe at the faithfulness of our loving Savior as I witnessed this. In the dream, I witnessed an event that I believe is symbolic of the powerful love of our Savior and what took place on the cross.

Kingdom Warriors of Light

God is raising up Kingdom warriors whose sole focus will be the destruction of just one enemy stronghold. It is all too common for those who study dark forces to become darkened in their minds. As warriors of light we have access to the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God (Romans 13:12; Ephesians 1:17). This wisdom and revelation brings enlargement and insight and is always full of hope. The Kingdom warriors that God is raising up will be laser-focused on the destruction of specific strongholds, but in the process, they will not become darkened in their minds.

On the 22nd of June 2025, it was reported that Iran's Fordow Uranium Enrichment Plant—a facility hidden deep inside a mountain—had been destroyed by twelve massive bunker-buster bombs during Operation Midnight Hammer. In General Dan Caine's briefing on the operation, he emphasized the work of two unnamed officers who started studying the Fordow facility no less than fifteen years earlier. In today's first article, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is cracking down on any kind of verbal dissent in Hong Kong, once a British-ruled democratic haven sitting on the edge of China. Outright public dissent has already been made illegal and many have been prosecuted for any kind of pro-democracy demonstrations of the past.

Our second artcle is about how Taiwan and China's young people are turning to AI Chatbots for cheap and easy therapy. Whoever has programmed that AI can now use these chatbots to program how these young people think. 

Pray for political freedom and for freedom of the soul for these young people as they find healing in Jesus.

      Presently, the Scriptures only give us sketchy details about our life after the resurrection and in the kingdom of God that is coming to earth. They’re awesome sketches, and we’re promised that the reality is going to be much better than our present minds can even conceive. He has only given us these brief sketches now because we do not need all the details about how wonderful it is going to be. However, we need to have clear marching orders for what we’re here to do. This is what we must focus on now: doing the job we’re here to do.

      To review, in Isaiah 40 we’re told to prepare the way for Him by building a highway. This highway is God’s higher way. It is His higher way to do all that we are doing—government, education, family, business, media, and everything else—God’s way. We pray that you and your family will be blessed as our nation celebrates its national indepencence. REMEMBER those who fought and sacrificed so much to give us this freedom. Even freedom to speak out against perceived wrongs of our government.

As we celebrate, we must also remain sober regarding the threat to our continued freedom. We are blessed to live in the greatest nation in the world.  We must not forget there is always an enemy seeking to steal, kill, and destroy, both spiritually and in the natural. 

Today's articles continue to reveal the persecution that some churches face in China. Both of the churches mentioned are from the same city. The Communist Party and China's leaders are against the Church and religion. Enforcement of the law governing the Church may be enforced in varying degrees depending on what city or province they are in. Since both churches mentioned are from the same place, we see a similar degree of severity of enforcement against the church leaders.

When the Lord blessed Israel in the wilderness by giving them the meat that they demanded, was it actually judgment or a curse? Consider that if you give a child what they are demanding when they throw a tantrum, you are hardening their heart by causing them to think they can control others with their outrageous behavior. This may work on weak parents, but as they grow older, this will cause them increasingly serious problems with teachers, bosses, and even friends, possibly turning them into dangerous people.

Are we not witnessing this on a wide scale by those who respond to not getting their way by destroying universities and cities? This destructive behavior will ultimately destroy their own lives and potentially the lives of many others.
