Life in the New Covenant, Part 37 -  Rick Joyner      

This week, we are going to cover some important biblical prophecies about the end of the age. Some of what I will cover here may be challenging for those who have only been taught the modern evangelical/Pentecostal eschatology which became dominant in these parts of the church after the 1844 Advent Movement.
 

      This new eschatology, or theology about the end of the age,  attributed the books of Daniel and Revelation, and some biblical prophecies, as being almost exclusively about the very end of the age, which they considered to be imminent in 1844. This was in contrast to the eschatology of the Catholic Church and that embraced by virtually the entire Protestant Church. Of these, the Protestant eschatology was the closest to that of the first century apostles and prophets and also mostly what was adopted by the “early church fathers” who wrote prior to the Council of Nicaea.

      The first century apostles and early church fathers had expected these prophecies to unfold from their time until the end of the age. This eschatology was recovered during the Reformation. The teachers and theologians of that time saw how much of what had been predicted in these prophecies, especially in Daniel and Revelation, had been accurately fulfilled during the period from the first century until the beginning of the Reformation in the early 1500s. Vision

On Sunday morning (August 25, 2024), during our worship time, I had a vision. I was reminded of a time when Tom and I were traveling to Korea for ministry and a yellow, industrial dust blew over from China. It completely polluted the atmosphere and actually poisoned my lungs, giving me pneumonia and bronchitis numerous times over the next eighteen months until I was healed.

A Polluted Atmosphere

What I saw in the spirit was that this dust was like the toxic spiritual atmosphere over America at this time. I saw the dust choking out the breath of God from the Ekklesia. It was making it difficult to breathe and release life or declare what God was saying, additionally causing fatigue and disengagement.

The toxic dust was filling the ears, keeping people from hearing the word of the Lord. It was burning the eyes, keeping people from being able to see clearly what is ahead.

OUR PSALM 37 MOMENT

This is our Psalm 37 moment.

The righteous are speaking to one another. They are baffled. How did it come to this? Just when we had hope, a massive, withering, crushing attack strikes the presidential election.

How can this election be close? No one in their right mind can fall for this. Or can they?

A widespread heaviness and sorrow grips God’s people over this election. What caused this sudden turn?

It is a masterstroke of Satan. It is his tried and true formula. He has done it over and over again.

Here is how he does it:

-Introduce a Trojan horse under the guise of justice and equality.

-Create a ruling class who will do anything for money and power.

-Use them to place puppets in government and media. Control the teleprompter. Let them mouth peace—but only as a mouthpiece.

-Seduce young minds to believe in something that has never worked—and will never work. Social justice is the perfect bait.

-Foment hate toward everything that made America prosperous, strong, and safe.

We have come to America’s darkest hour. We are witnessing a vast coalition of liars churning out the largest disinformation campaign in history.

PROPHETIC DREAM: PRAYER ALERT concerning PRESIDENT TRUMP, UPCOMING ELECTIONS, and THE CHILDREN

I dreamt I was in an apartment building in an older section of town with lots of people milling around. Still in my bathrobe, I had gone outside to the back deck to see what was happening. Through a wooden fence I could see a crowd starting to gather next door.

I then saw Sean Feucht on the deck and he came up to me asking if I was going to “join them.” I saw behind him a lunch meeting about to start. Apparently he had asked me this question before but I had never given him an answer. I then looked back through the gated fence to see what was happening.

The crowd was growing and I saw a bunch of secret service men begin to swarm the area and start directing people to the side. One came through the gate and began to steer me away. I quickly went back inside where others had gathered. I told them that secret service men were here – which meant that President Trump was probably close behind. He was making an appearance here.

I went upstairs to look out a window and watch. When I got to the window I saw a pastor’s wife I used to know who has since passed on (I knew her name meant “wisdom”). She was looking out intently with some others who had gathered in a line behind her. They wanted to watch the yard below where Trump would be. I noticed the window was really old with peeling paint and a rickety wooden screen. The pastor’s wife went to raise the window so we could hear better.       I am 75 years old—three-quarters of a century old—and think I may have lived the best life ever lived on the planet. It keeps getting better. I’ve had my share of trials, some of which I wondered if I would survive. However, I can affirm the promise in Romans 8:28, that “All things work together for good for those who love the Lord,” is true every time.
 
      I usually write these Words for the Week months before they’re published, and I marvel at how often they are timely. If I am correct about when this one will likely be released, the world will likely be in, or entering, a major time of crisis. The troubles coming upon the world were prophesied to come like birth contractions come upon a woman in labor. The world has been experiencing these for some time now. ...

Vision of a Red Carpet

A few weeks ago, I was in worship when I had a vision of a red carpet being laid out on a stretch of path and steps through a city. It was being rolled for miles, and at first I didn't understand its purpose until my eyes panned and I saw Jesus walking on the path. The train of His robe was flooding the ground behind Him, and fire was flickering off its edges.

It was clear that He wasn't coming like a lamb, but a lion. He had fire in His eyes a mission to do, yet I didn't see where He was yet.

At the Doors of the Supreme Court

Suddenly I was able to see ahead of Him as He came up to the front of the Supreme Court in D.C., and all these demons were shrieking at Him and trying to prevent Him from entering.

Without even a hesitation or slight resistance, He flung His arms out, and the doors blew off the court and sent a shock wave through the building and surrounding area, silencing everything in His path.

The video, a compilation of heartfelt social media posts, reveals a community drawn together not by party lines but by a shared commitment to love, inclusion, and Jesus’ teachings.” 

“Viewers share personal stories of feeling seen, heard, and encouraged by the organization’s commitment to a more inclusive and compassionate expression of faith. ‘This is what being a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ is all about,’ reads one tweet. ‘Love thy neighbor as thyself.’ Another commenter shares, ‘Thank you for saying this so much.       How do we distinguish between the church that the Lord is building and the one that men are building? There is a saying that, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” The “good” side of the Tree of Knowledge is just as deadly as the “evil” side. The fruit of both is poison.

      This is not to say that all of man’s good works are attempts to circumvent the cross. One’s works can be good, but if they are not the good God has called us to do, they can be diversions from the path of life He has called us to walk. Man’s goodness is not the same as God’s, and it often counters what God is doing by drawing men away from walking with Him to follow human projects and initiatives. These can be rooted in a number of what we may consider good things, but are in reality attempts to attain our acceptance by God through works, rather than through the cross of Jesus. When this is the case, those works are in fact evil, and they lead to self-righteousness rather than the righteousness of God.   continue >>>

Recently, I heard the Lord speaking over the people of God. He said, "Draw close to Me and allow Me to disciple you in discernment." I sensed so strongly the need for increased discernment in the days ahead.

As I leaned in and listened to what the Lord was saying, I heard, "I am calling My people to draw close to Me now, for great discernment is needed now, and even greater discernment will be needed in the days to come. There is great deception that the enemy is bringing into the earth, and I am raising up a people who are living DISCIPLED in MY DISCERNMENT. Over four nights this past week, Democrat leaders, politicians, and the party’s superstars spoke about their vision for America’s future. Sadly, many lies were told about the state of the economy, the border, crime, and more. It was a challenge to pick only six.

Lie #1 Exposed: Trump did NOT call Neo-Nazis ‘fine people.’ 

The sitting president, Joe Biden, spoke late on Monday night and once again trotted out his old lie regarding former President Trump. I hesitate to even mention it, but when a lie is repeatedly told, even when one is confronted with the truth, that’s a deliberate sin. Biden lies when he says Trump called Nazis “very fine people” after a Charlottesville, VA, rally protesting the removal of Confederate General Robert E. Lee’s statue. Trump did not. What he said was, “Those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”   continue >>>

Recognizing Our Condition

I see depression, tiredness, lack of motivation and concentration, brain fog, and overall physical infirmity increasing among many due to the buildup of stress. This is not only affecting us collectively as a nation (due to the ongoing spiritual and natural warfare in recent months) but individually, as many are feeling the strain on a personal level.

Ever since the 2020 election, we as a people have been undergoing unexpected and dramatic changes to our routines, little by little and month by month. The upheaval in the nation has hit everyone at some level. Whether it's been financial, medical, political, or otherwise, everyone has been impacted by the breakdown of what was once considered normal. This ongoing pressure has been slow and steady, without any seeming break. And many are now experiencing the mental, emotional, and physical consequence of the spiritual battles at hand. And the Lord is calling out the source of our ailments. I had just read the title of today's word - 'DON'T STOP AT THE GATE' -  but hadn't started to read your email when I had powerful open-eye vision.
 
 A soldier (me), was struggling with all my might to reach and enter an enormous gate. I was wounded from the battle and about to faint. There were fires and explosions and enemy combatants all around me. Someone was beckoning me with great emotion just inside this gate. URGING ME to keep coming, NOT TO STOP! Each step I took, pushing against all kinds of strong resistance, gave me the necessary resolve to take another step!
