TO ARTHUR GREEVES: On the meaning of interruptions and real life; on the difficulty of being patient; and on expiating through embracing one’s own sufferings.

Things are pretty bad here. Minto’s varicose ulcer gets worse and worse, domestic help harder and harder to come by. Sometimes I am very unhappy, but less so than I have often been in what were (by external standards) better times.

The great thing, if one can, is to stop regarding all the unpleasant things as interruptions of one’s ‘own’, or ‘real’ life. The truth is of course that what one calls the interruptions are precisely one’s real life—the life God is sending one day by day: what one calls one’s ‘real life’ is a phantom of one’s own imagination. This at least is what I see at moments of insight: but it’s hard to remember it all the time—I know your problems must be much the same as mine (with the important difference that mine are of my own making, a very appropriate punishment and, like all God’s punishments, a chance for expiation.)

Isn’t it hard to go on being patient, to go on supplying sympathy? One’s stock of love turns out, when the testing time comes, to be so very inadequate: I suppose it is well that one should be forced to discover the fact!

I find too (do you?) that hard days drive one back on Nature. I don’t mean walks . . . but little sights and sounds seen at windows in odd moments.

I had a most vivid, tranquil dream about you the other night, just chatting in the old way. Let’s hope it will happen sometime. For the rest, I’ve no news.

Altars Shall Crumble

        Faith is based on the recognition of the One in whom we believe. It is seeing Jesus as He is now, not just as He was or as He will be. Jesus said He is the manna that came down from heaven. He is the Bread of life. He said in Matthew 4:4, “It is written, ‘man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’” “Every word that proceeds” is present tense, not past tense. Just as the Israelites had to gather fresh manna every day, we must have fresh encounters with Him every day.

        The more we look to Him and see Him, the better we will come to know and believe in Him. Jesus only did what He saw His Father doing. In other words, He looked to the Father continually for what He should do. As we look to Him continually to see what He is doing, we too can be used to do His works. The key to doing His works is to see what He is doing.

2023 was quite the year for our family and many others we know. Unprecedented, spiritual and physical attacks had many fighting for their lives. Chaos seemed to have reached a new level of power in many situations. In the nations, death and chaos seemed to rule the day. People dealing with sickness, financial robbery, broken relationships and the like had many finishing 2023 exhausted from battle.

I saw a meme circulating on social media which showed a man on the phone. He said, "Yes, Heaven? I am calling to make sure I am signed up for the 'blessed and highly favored package' for 2024, and not the 'trials and tribulations' package I accidentally subscribed to this year!"  continue reading

But then the believers who back Trump will say, ‘Vote for him because he can save the nation.’ It seems I disagree with everyone. But hold on.

Trump cannot save America because America’s crisis is supernatural.

America is perverted by demonic power.

TO THE FATHER’S DELIGHT, THE WORLD WILL SEE THE BEAUTY OF THE BRIDE - WANDA ALGER

Through all my years of prophetic dreaming, I’ve never received a dream that suggested anything about Jesus’ return or any specific event preceding it. What I HAVE been consistently shown is that the Church is going to go through some massive overhauls and major changes. I’ve never had clarity concerning how or where this would fit into any timeline. All I’ve known in my spirit is that the power and presence of the Lord is going to be experienced in unprecedented ways before His final return.

Then, last week I had a dream that was unlike any other. The Lord revealed His heart and His intention for the Body of Christ in these “last days” before the wedding of the Lamb…
