"It's Comeback Time!"

Micah 7:8 says, "Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me."

I love this Scripture! To me it is the ultimate comeback. A few years ago, I was reading about a boxer who had a comeback story. No one thought he would win, but he did. In the article, he said a couple things that have stuck with me through the years. He said...

• A true champion knows how to adjust.

• A true champion always finds a way to come back.

Over the past several months, many of my friends have been under spiritual and even physical attack. I believe it is time to hear a few comeback stories! I believe God is declaring, "It's comeback time!" over many people in the Body of Christ. (Photo via Unsplash)

I believe we are about to hear comeback stories from those individuals whom people may have said, "They will never make it. I knew they couldn't do it. "Get Ready to Stand in New Places"

Recently, I heard the Lord say, "Your depth of surrender to Me is positioning you to stand in new places."

The Sound of Surrender

After hearing this, I was taken into a vision. I was so moved as I watched what was taking place in this vision. I saw the season shifting and a major transition taking place. The sound of "surrender" was being heralded loudly from the heavens. It was the sound of surrender to the ways of the Lord and the PROCESS of the Lord.

As the sound went forth, many were surprised by the process that came with the alarm that was going forth; it was unexpected. This way was completely different, but there was such a deep invitation being extended from the Lord to lay down, let go and surrender.

One of the things that moved me deeply was when I saw many friends of God, all over the earth, begin to fall face down before the Lord; they were offering Him that which He was asking. There was pain in letting go, but their heart to worship Him and follow His way far outweighed the pain of letting go. There was a deep recognition and cry in their heart that was building, stronger and stronger, heralding a declaration: "When I said I would follow Your way and follow You anywhere, I meant it; it's for YOU Jesus. Sitting in my prayer room, alone with Holy Spirit, I received revelation of what is coming very soon to our world and our nation:

Greater than the Days of Elijah and Elisha

Prophetic word received on June 11, 2021:

The Lord said: "These are days that are even greater than the days of Elijah and Elisha! More miracles, greater signs and wonders, dramatic deliverance and uncommon feats will all be commonplace.

"Like popcorn being popped, this revival will be expansive and never ending because of the fire of My glory that will be poured forth. Not just a few 'kernels' or a few people will be touched, used and transformed by My fire! The Church has been like dried, hard corn kernels before the heat was applied to them. Dry, stale religion was hard to swallow, indigestible and uninviting. Now is the hour that the transformation is upon the land.

"My fresh fire will make what was once dry and stale, unpalatable and non-nourishing, delicious. The oil of My Spirit [will be] like warm butter, and the salt of My words will enhance all I do with My fire! Great changes will come when My fire falls."

On June 18, 2021, I was praying for my nation (the United States) and asking the Lord what He would be doing in my country in the days ahead. I felt the Spirit of God come on me heavily and I felt like I needed to audio record my prayer. Suddenly the spirit of prophecy took over and the Lord spoke this message through me:

"Change is coming swiftly," says the Lord. "I'm drawing a line in the sand. The days of riding the fence as to whether you are for Me or against Me are over, and there is a separation that is coming. I will gather together My flock and separate the sheep from the goats. When the righteous cry out, they will not be forsaken.

The Beauty of God’s Judgments

“. . .and he (the angel) said in a loud voice, ‘Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of water.’ And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, ‘Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality’” (Revelation 14:7 & 8)

     Yes. You saw it. I used the word “beauty” to describe the judgments of God. One of the finest break-throughs I have experienced in my life was when I came into a fuller understanding of the purpose of the judgments of the Most High.

     First, God must judge because His throne is established on righteousness. It is the only way true justice can be established on the earth. The judicial systems of this world are in open failure. Lawlessness is on the increase. It is more than apparent that we need help – help from heaven.  Be assured, justice will not prevail until Jesus reigns upon the earth.

     Secondly, I began to see the beauty of His judgments when I became aware that the primary purpose of His enforcement of righteousness is to remove all obstacles to His Love and Kindness.  This is where the “beauty” of His judgments takes center stage. God’s original intention was for human beings to enter into joyful and meaningful relationship with Him. This purpose involves eternal life in an atmosphere of peace, joy and pleasure. “In His Presence is the fullness of joy and in His right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11).  Please make note of the following Scriptures that hold His judgments in high honor:

     “Halleluiah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God; because His judgments are true and righteous. . . .and a second time ‘Halleluiah’” (Revelation 19:1-3).  This Scripture makes clear that the judgments of God are a cause of overwhelming praise and thanksgiving. In Revelation 18, Babylon, i.e., the world-system, has fallen. This “removal” of wickedness paves the way for a society where love, unity and power can flourish. God’s judgments are beautiful.

     “The judgments of the Lord are true, they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold; sweeter than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb” (Psalm 19:9&10). In this world’s realm, gold is of great value and there is nothing sweeter than honey. (I am a bee keeper and can verify this fact!!). The judgments of the Lord are beautiful, indeed.

     God is love. His plans for us all revolve around perfect Love. However, real Love cannot thrive where there is an absence of righteousness and justice. Today, many people have the notion that God’s Love allows a person to live almost any way they want to live. Nothing could be further from the truth. Real love thrives only in an atmosphere of holiness. Freedom is found in the way of complete submission and obedience to God and His will.

     God’s judgments, when completed, will remove from human society all deceit, strife, anger, falsehood, self-centeredness and secret evil. I am not able to express the deep yearning I feel to live in such a society; a society made delightful because the Lord was willing to defend His people against the forces of wickedness. "Are You Living in His Presence Now?"

The glory of God is coming but we must live in His presence now if we expect to walk in His glory later. And it is this very thing – this entering into God's presence now – that satan fights the most.

Yet the nature of our battle is not easily discerned. The enemy does not typically appear with fierce countenance, threatening us with retaliation if we begin to seek God. No, satan's attack is more subtle. He whispers his crafty manipulations, stealing our time and draining us of spiritual passions. He even manipulates the good things of God's blessings to keep us from the best gift of all: God's presence.

The devil has a willing accomplice in our fleshly nature. Recall Solomon's astute observation: "Behold, I have found only this [as a reason]: God made man upright and uncorrupted, but they [both men and women] have sought out many devices [for evil]" (Eccl. 7:29 Amplified). Our "many devices," gadgets, and technologies, for all the convenience they supposedly provide, are not much more than "mind candy." They fritter away our time and energy.
