"Hear the Sound of the Prevailing Roar" Alane Haynes, San Diego, CA

As I was interceding this last week, Holy Spirit reminded me of a word He gave me five years ago. Much of it is relevant to the current warfare in Israel, the nations, and in our personal lives.

I distinctly heard, "No more side rails or derails. You will not be curtailed, for I have prevailed!" I also heard, "The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty..." (Zeph. 3:17, KJV). Recently, I was reminded of a trip my daughter Breanne and I once took out of town. It was a bright, sunny day, and we were driving to a nearby city to pick something up for a birthday party.

I was the passenger that day. I was quietly riding along, looking out the window and simply enjoying the ride. I began to see road signs; the first one read, "Work Ahead." (At the time, we were traveling about 60 mph.) I didn't think a lot about this first sign, and we continued driving. After another mile or so, there was another sign; it read, "Road Work Ahead." A Prayer for Israel

We are told to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They need our prayers. Mixed messages are coming out of the Biden Administration. But the good news is that Secretary Blinken, with the Dept of Defense, has released the following statement from America (after Biden retracted his). Would you declare it with me today as we pray for God's protection over Israel? "We declare that America stands in solidarity with the government and people of Israel and extend our condolences for the Israeli lives lost in these attacks. We will remain in close contact with our Israeli partners and declare the United States support of Israel's right to defend herself."
