What is happening behind the scenes? Is he going to return? Run in 2024? Is he still president as some suggest? Is his day over? Before we pray I want to share several points that I feel are important and relevant.
First, we know America’s “salvation” is not based on any man, but on God. However, there has been and still is an anointing on Donald Trump to lead, to negotiate, and to bring about needed change.
We can put it into perspective as we consider King David. A man with an amazing anointing to lead, yet who blew it more than once. One instance led to his removal as king for a season. But then we also know he was returned and vindicated. I believe much of it was due to David’s heart and willingness to repent and be humble.
I believe those areas are equally important for Donald Trump, but just as David was returned to power, I believe we will see Trump returned to power. As I stated before the election, I believe Trump was not only God’s choice, but the people’s choice. I believe he will be restored to what the people chose. But I also believe movement is contingent on a humble heart.
The liberals continue to try to discredit Trump and gain access to information from his administration. Pres. Trump has now appealed to the Supreme Court to try to block the National Archives and Records Administration from releasing all the documents. This is much like what they did during their Russion Collusion bid for information. Trump has claimed executive privilege stating that hundreds of pages don’t pertain to events of that day. There is also the concern that the release of those documents could compromise national security.
Let’s use this Scripture as our sword to deliver Pres. Trump from those who would destroy him. “” (Ps 97:10 NIV). We can pray for the Supreme Court to hear his case and for a good outcome.
I do know from some working with him that he is working hard behind the scenes to help vet people for positions and that he has been in D.C. often. More is going on than meets the eye.
But whether God returns him to office or not, no one deserves the ongoing brutality, harassment and attacks he and his family have endured and continue to endure (along with those who have served with him) from those intent on keeping him out of office. In light of all of that, is this week’s prayer focus.
Father, we pray for President Donald Trump and ask for your wisdom and hand to be upon him. We join together in prayer to ask that this ongoing and constant harassment against his business, his character and his family come to a stop once and for all. We bind the Enemy and his cohorts and declare he will not prevail.
You have seen the constant attacks, lawsuits and harassment against him and his family while he was in office. Their attacks continue in the name of “investigation” by Pelosi’s Select Committee and ongoing propaganda regarding January 6.
Lord we pray your Word from Ps 31, Let the lying lips be silent which speak arrogantly against the righteous with pride and contempt. You do hide Donald Trump all those from his administration or working with him who have been targeted for attack, in a secret shelter from the strife of tongues (contentions, divisions and lawsuits.)
We pray that the lawsuits will fall to the ground. Any area where there is no substance or truth, Lord we ask that it be exposed for what it is. And that those behind these lawsuits who have attempted to take his money and tie up his time, may THEIR money and time be taken and may it be transferred to the righteous.
In you, Lord, may Donald Trump and his family and any who have been targeted simply because they continue to expose truth, take refuge in You and in so doing may they never be put to shame. Those who love the Lord hate evil and You guard the lives of Your faithful ones and deliver them from the hand of the wicked. Turn Your ear to them Lord and come quickly to their rescue. Be their rock of refuge and a strong fortress to save them and us. As our rock and our fortress, for the sake of Your name lead and guide them and us. Keep them free from the trap that is set for them. For You are their refuge.
We pray for discernment. Open their eyes to know who to trust and who not to trust. Those that are untrustworthy, we pray that they will be exposed and removed. Shine Your to expose. We also pray for Donald Trump’s eyes to be opened to the vaccine and what is behind it and in it. Where he has taken pride in his own efforts and pats himself on the back because praise has been withheld, may he cast it as a crown before Your feet and not seek man’s praise or approval. May he simply seek Yours. Heal him in this area Lord we pray.
We pray for all who have worked with him in the effort to expose election fraud. Many of them have been targeted with lawsuits against them personally. May they fear not and despite this attack, may it turn back on those who have perpetuated it. Lord we ask that You restore seven-fold all that has been stolen from them. You have said that we can be certain that the wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free. May it be.
Father, You said a righteous man may fall seven times but he will rise again. Raise them up Lord as they continue to put their trust in You.
Praise be to Your name oh God forever and ever. For wisdom and power are Yours. You change times and seasons. You depose kings and raise up others. You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. You reveal deep and hidden things. You know what lies in darkness, and light dwells with You.
We pray regarding the current administration and all who are behind them. We continue to pray that all unrighteousness and theft will be exposed. That truth will prevail. That Your glory would be revealed and do what we cannot. Rise up O Lord and may Your enemies be scattered.
