The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the first step to wisdom. But it doesn’t stop there. It says the fear of the Lord brings blessings and the life of God. We desperately need these things in our land at the present time, don’t you agree?

Psalm 34:11 says the fear of the Lord can be taught. Therefore, let us pray God grants each and every one of our leaders on whatever level they lead, a lesson in the fear of the Lord. Once that is accomplished, wisdom, blessing, and life will come upon our nation. To God be all the glory.

 This week’s prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come to You today in total unity and agreement, standing firm upon Your Word. Your Word promises us that wisdom follows the fear of the Lord. We ask You this day to release the fear of the Lord upon our nation and upon our city, in Jesus’ name.

We thank You that not only will wisdom follow the fear of the Lord, but also blessings and the life of God. We desire this in our homes and in our land.

Teach each and every government official the fear of the Lord. Send lesson after lesson their way until they acknowledge You and begin to walk daily in the fear of the Lord. Then, God, grant them wisdom, knowledge and understanding that they would lead the people of this nation in righteousness, truth and the ways of the Lord.

Your Word says the fear of the Lord prolongs days. So we ask You to extend the days of freedom in this land. Extend the days of righteousness and the fear of the Lord in our land. We also ask that You shorten the days of the wicked according to Your Word.

Cause Your Church to embrace and walk in the fear of the Lord from this day forth. As we do, we declare we will be filled with life, we will abide in satisfaction, and we will NOT be visited with evil. This is Your Word God, and we stand firm on it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
