From a Google Search — “Asian hornets are native to East and Southeast Asia, and they originate primarily from:  Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and parts of India and Nepal.
The species most people refer to is the Asian Giant Hornet, which lives in forested and mountainous regions, typically nesting underground.
It is not native to North America or Europe, although isolated sightings outside Asia have occurred due to accidental human transport.”

Blessings to you all.
