Are I Ready for God's Assignment?

Dear Partners,
Have you grown weary? Have you knocked and knocked on doors that don’t seem to open? Do you wonder if God still has a purpose for you?
Hint: He does.
I AM CREATED FOR...?
Even unbelievers ask “What am I here for?” to a God they don’t know. It’s because deep inside us we know we were created for something!
We have each been given unique gifts and talents and an assignment.
The question is, are we willing to give ourselves to that assignment? One day each of us will stand before Him and will be responsible for what He imparted specifically to us.
Young people are often the tip of the spear of protests, action steps and even revival. It’s because they want to make a difference. But as we grow older, that zeal can grow cold from discouragement. Is that you?
Let’s look at the familiar scripture in Matthew 25:14-18.
For it is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his own slaves and entrusted his possessions to them. “To one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey. “Immediately the one who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and gained five more talents. “In the same manner the one who had received the two talents gained two more. “But he who received the one talent went away, and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT?
What is your assignment? It’s connected to your gifts. What has God entrusted to you? We don’t all have the same measure of gifts, but all of us were born with gifts and talents. How much they increase is based on whether we use and develop them. As we do, God adds to what we have. But it is up to us whether those talents increase or not. Remember, the one who received ten talents doubled it. The one who received five talents, doubled it. The one with the least amount, buried it.
MY FRIEND, KIM
I often think of my friend Kim Potter who has written daily devotions for “A New Thing Ministries” for years. She has the gift of encouragement. Several years ago, she asked me to help her develop her writing gift. Now she was already a good writer! But she wasn’t satisfied. She knew she could get better and was willing to work to increase her gift. And she did because she did the work.
I have trained many writers over the years. But training does little if the person doesn’t take what they have learned and apply it. If they don’t press in. That is where gifts grow and multiply.
What will you do with what He has given you?
Do you feel tired and/or fearful? Do you feel like the individual who received the one talent? You don’t feel like you have the energy or ability to do anything with it? I encourage you to:
- Shake off that spirit of fear and weariness.
- Press in. Rise up and take hold of it.
- Step into the water of the spirit and let it revive and restore you. As you do, new strength will fill you.

If you feel you have no unique gifts or abilities—that is not true. EVERYONE has been given gifts, talents and abilities in which to reach those around you. In which to make a difference and touch lives. EVERYONE.

STEP IN

Perhaps you think it is because you don’t have the money to get the training you desire. I can tell you that most of the training I have is through books, pressing in to figure out how to do something via trial and error and most importantly from the Holy Spirit.
WE HAVE TO PRESS IN
For most it’s easier to stay on the sidelines, offering support to those who are moving forward and pressing in. But staying on the sidelines doesn’t develop your gifts or assignment. Prayer and support is great, but what is your offering to the Lord?
An offering must cost us something. Fasting and prayer costs us something. When we press into develop a skill it costs us something. Time. Energy. Resources. David once said he would not give an offering to the Lord that didn’t cost him something. (I Chron 21:24)
Working to develop the gift/talent God has given us and acknowledge His assignment costs us as it requires time, energy, prayer and dedication. But the only way we will see an increase in our assignment is to begin to walk it out. Sometimes we blame it on that we haven’t been recognized. It’s great when it happens. But know that as you serve, God recognizes you and sees you. He sees the sacrifice and dedication—even if it goes unacknowledged by others.
Remember God holds the scales. Nothing is missed by Him. He sees you and knows you. He wants to increase you.
God doesn’t give an assignment that we are unable to fulfill. That would be unjust. Where He gives an assignment and where He gives revelation, it is because we have the ability to succeed IF we will press in.
Where are you in your assignment? If you have given up, press back in. If you are on the sidelines, step in. If you are weary, be refilled by encouraging yourself in the Lord as David had to do while he was waiting on his assignment to come to pass.
Hear God's word for you today: Press in!

1. Pray for America's Revival event in Tulsa this Friday-Sunday. President Trump has acknowledged that we need revival across America. We are praying for the wells of revival that began in Tulsa many years ago to be opened up again and to spread across this nation and around the world.
2. We are praying for revival to break out in schools and universities in this area. That those who would stand in the way of God's move among the students will be moved out of the way.
3. Pray for the volunteers at America's Revival to able to fill every position needed to be a blessing to all those who participate and for all details to be worked out.
4. We are believing for signs, wonders, and miracles to accompany the preaching of the Gospel for the glory of God.
5. For Kevin & Karen to have wisdom and understanding for all that is needed and great grace to accomplish them. |

| The White House Faith-Based Initiative has gotten behind, America’s Revival, a conference which launches in Tulsa, Sept 12-14 in the ORU Mabee Center. The purpose is for signs, wonders, miracles and souls to be saved. After the Tulsa conference, it will go to other cities. |

Kevin and I are working to coordinate this initiative, as we did with the Mario Murillo/Flashpoint 2-day event, in 2022.
One of the evenings we will be joined by either President Trump, VP Vance, or Marco Rubio! Some of the speakers will include: Rodney Howard-Brown, Gene Bailey, Joseph Z, Eddie James, and founder/evangelist Joshua Feuerstein.
Please pray for us as this launch is very quick. Also pray as this continues and goes to various cities across the U.S. culminating July 2-3 at Mount Rushmore prior to the 250th celebration on July 4th.

Then taken over by offense, they believe it is righteous indignation--but they are in manipulation. They will be at every prayer meeting--and even sound good most of the time--but their actions and fruit tell the true story.
