Our world just changed. On Saturday, America assisted our ally, Israel, by taking out nuclear facilities deep underground in Iran. America was the only country, we are told, that had the bombs able to penetrate deep into the earth that could remove those facilities. There were three and all three were destroyed according to a press conference with President Trump on Saturday night.

Much of last week I listened to Christian friends who were on both sides of the issue between Iran and Israel. Now that action has been taken, some agree with the president for standing with Israel. Others believe Israel is in sin and God is judging them by this war with Iran. Still others think Israel is the aggressor and that America needs to just stay out of it. I think it is imperative that we view what is happening from a biblical lens for clarity. It is impossible, in my opinion, to understand what is taking place if we do not add the Bible to this mix. What you hear from the news is only going to be from a secular, military standpoint. But we are watching prophecy unfold before our eyes.

I doubt that any would disagree that we are in the last of the last days. The clock is ticking for Christ’s return. Having said that, could it still be fifty years away or more? Possibly. But it sure doesn’t feel like it.

What the Bible says about Israel:

• There would be a rebirth of Israel. That happened on May 14, 1948 when Israel once again became a nation in a day. (Is 66:8, Ez 37). 
• That the Jews would return to Israel. We have watched that for the past several years as people of Jewish decent from all over the world have been returning to Israel. (Ez 36:24, Jer 16:15-16)
• You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. (Matt 24:6).
• Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39 – reveal that no nation, including America, will go to Israel’s defense at the “War of Gog and Magog” (Ezekiel 38:16).
• When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. (Luke 21:20)

If you are one who believes that Israel was the aggressor and started this war, remember Oct. 7. It was an unprovoked slaughter of Jewish people. Babies were put in ovens. Parents had to watch their babies and children be sodomized and then had their eyes gauged out before being killed. It was a brutal holocaust. It was evil and Hamas...funded largely by Iran and China… drew first blood.

Don’t forget that Iran already had enriched uranium to build nuclear bombs. Now we know through intel that they had enough for 14 or 15, which if not already assembled could be within minutes. (Thank you Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama for supplying the $$ and the uranium.) Iran and other Muslim countries that live by the Koran, live by the mandate of death to Israel. They want a war because they believe it will facilitate the prophecy of the return of the twelfth and final Imam—Muhammad al-Mahdi—who they believe to be their messiah. Those devout to this belief, are also devout to the command to annihilate Israel. Those two things must be understood before we can begin to process what is actually happening.

Romans 11:25-26 tells us, “For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion… The time of the Gentiles is almost fulfilled. When the Jews rejected Christ, salvation was brought to the Gentiles. We are seeing the beginnings of the prophecied last day’s revival of the gentiles (those who are not Jews) being fulfilled as the “time of the gentiles” is fulfilled. What will follow is a revival of the Jewish people as the veil that has been over their eyes is removed and they will accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah. (Ez 36:25)

Once again, I completely changed the prayer this week from what was planned, to focus on the events that happened Saturday. What does it mean for America? It means we remain in prayer and watchful. Will they use this to activate the sleeper cells that were allowed in not only during the Biden open borders era, but many have been here even longer than that. Don’t forget that the State Dept under Barak Obama’s reign was FULL of Muslims. We were infiltrated a long time ago. God help us.

PRAYER
Father, I love You and thank You that You are in control. Even when my flesh and heart feel they may fail, You are the strength of my heart and my portion forever. We pray over the people of Israel and Iran as missiles and bombs are being targeted against both nations. We pray for the protection of innocent civilians and families. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Father, You know Iran’s intent to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. They have stated it, as have Hamas and others. As the media works to paint Israel as the aggressor, may the world remember who was attacked first. May Your people remember that there is more to this story than what meets the eye. Help us to see this through Your eyes and through a biblical lens. We pray for Candace Owens and others who have taken offense against Israel and can not longer see beyond that offense. Help us to guard our hearts with all diligence and refuse offense so that we don’t enter deception and inadvertently stand against You. We pray for wisdom for President Trump and Congress and protection over our nation from terrorists living among us. We pray for Your angels to encamp around us and this nation You love, to protect us against backlash. Remember us as we have stood with Israel as her protector for she is the apple of Your eye. As the timing of Your return draws near, may we remain steadfast and immovable. Keep us in perfect peace as we keep our mind and heart steadfast on You.
