Will North Korea's Dictator Lose Power?

Today's first article is about North Korea's second in command, Choe Ryong Hae. Since 2017, Choe has been trusted by Kim and has been gaining more and more power across much of the government and military, whose power network seems to be surpassing that of Kim himself.

I wonder if this "ally" will eventually turn against the Kim family and stage a coup. This certainly seems to be the possibility that is being laid out in this article. If he would overthrow Dictator Kim and then open up N. Korea to the outside world and would be a more benevolent leader than the Kims have been then of course that would be great for the people and hopefully for the spread of the Gospel. 

If Choe stages a coup and also acts as a cruel dictator similar to Kim, then who knows, but it could even get worse for the N. Korean people. 

Pray over the leadership of N. Korea to change for the good of the people. 

Today's second article shares a video about an escalator built up a tourist mountain in China. The project began in 2022 and is expected to open this year. My assumption is if this escalator begins to have mechanical breakdowns, eventually they will stop repairing it and then you will have ugly metal stairs that stand out as an eyesore at this natural site. PRAYER
Father God, we do lift up the leadership of North Korea to you. Help them to turn their hearts to you and for the good of their people. Only you know how to turn their hearts Lord. Even if they personally choose not to serve you, you can still use the heathen for the good of your people. 

Lord, you know that the Kim family were Christians just three generations earlier. We call forth the Christian heritage of generations past. Promises you made with their ancestors are still waiting to come to pass. The seeds of the Gospel may seem dormant, but you Lord can still cause those seeds to produce fruit. We call it forth, now in Jesus' name. We call forth revival across North Korea. Father, bring forth a beautiful harvest of souls from this special country for Your glory. We bind all activities of the kingdom of darkness that seeks the destruction of these precious people and we loose the people from the bonds and deception of the devil, in Jesus' name. Come forth into the Kingdom of God. Come forth, into the Kingdom of Light in Jesus' name. Father, pour out your favor on the North Korean people now. Amen!
