STOP THE THREAT AGAINST OUR SCHOOLS!

Terrorist threats against our schools and students do not always come from the outside. They are just as often from the inside. Whether that is a student armed with a gun or a teacher/leader armed with communist/globalist/transgenderism rhetoric intent on confusing the minds of the students. Whether a physical assault or a mental one, both are deadly and need to be stopped.

The educational system in America doesn’t just need to be restored, it needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. The takeover by angry, liberal globalists intent on teaching our children communism, hatred for America and gender confusion seems to be their only goal as over 60% of children are failing and test well below their grade level.

This isn’t about throwing more money at a broken system. According to Education Data Initiative, schools already get federal, state, and local governments funds of $764.7 billion or $15,120 per pupil for K-12 public education. Additionally, it says postsecondary schools spend an average of $28,977 per pupil while our teachers make on average $32K. Where does that extra money come from and where does all it go? Certainly not for the students or the teachers. It has been a money laundering system.

 Teachers are some of the lowest paid professionals with some of the hardest workers. The majority have to pay for their own supplies for the classroom and when they get off work, many still have to go home and grade papers. Additionally in the current system, teachers have almost no disciplinary tools available and the kids know it. Those willing to fill this important role, who truly want to educate our kids for the right reasons and not just indoctrinate them, the classroom is their mission field. Let’s cover the kids, teachers and schools this week in fervent prayer.

NOTE: The prayer below wasn’t the prayer I initially wrote. My first attempt was, in retrospect, written from frustration and emotion—something I know we all share. But we also know that praying God’s Word back to Him, is our place of power in prayer. There are actually many scriptures that I felt applied to this situation. Thank you for joining me in prayer this week.


PRAYER
Father we thank you that You are in control and nothing is too difficult for You—even the horrible condition of our education system. We are slowly awakening to the fact that public education from its inception was a faulty design that allowed the government to become the primary teacher of our children to remove the influence of the parents and the Church. Forgive us Lord. And now we ask for Your help to bring turnaround and help us to restore that which has been stolen. May your indignation against America be spent and Your anger be directed to the destruction of those intent on destroying the hearts and minds of our students.

 You said that those who guide this people (our students) are leading them astray and those who are guided by them are brought to confusion. Therefore you do not take pleasure in our young people. Father we ask that the instruction meant to put confusion into their hearts and minds would be stopped and that Your Word would be restored in the classroom so that our students would learn the fear of the Lord and give You glory and honor. Where Your name has been mocked, may it once again be revered.

 We pray protection and strength for the teachers who are committed to true education and who desire to teach children how to read, write, do math, and know our real history, etc. We pray that revisionist communist curriculum would destroyed and replaced with accurate history, biblical instruction and actual education in life skills. Raise up godly leaders. We declare that the atmosphere of rebellion, hatred and chaos in the classrooms and throughout the schools turn to peace. Protect students and teachers from physical and verbal abuse. We cast out the disruptive spirits released into the schools and speak peace so that the students can learn. Take hearts of stone against You and turn them to flesh. We pray for revival that students & teachers alike will turn their eyes toward heaven and receive true identity. Repair and restore that which has been stolen. And once true identity and destiny has been revealed, may they hold it fast and be careful how they live, not as unwise but wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil.

 We pray for a hedge of protection around their minds, hearts and bodies. We declare that students and teachers alike will be renewed in the spirit of their mind which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. We declare that they have the mind of Christ.

 Where evil has attempted to turn students against the Church and their parents, open the students’ eyes to recognize it and refuse it. Raise up godly leaders among them who will stand for righteousness to lead in prayer and truth. Where the government seems determined to dumb our kids down, we pray for teachers who will teach the skills necessary to succeed in life and revere God. Give courage to those teachers and protection so they will not be silenced or censored, but unite together. Pour your favor upon them. Give them Your words to speak and may the students be drawn to the Spirit of God in them.

 Where the school budgets have become little more than money laundering of millions in govt funds to ungodly leaders, publishers and middlemen, may the funds be rerouted so they actually benefit the teachers and students. Restore the integrity of our educational facilities. May the ungodly be fired immediately and replaced with people who will work for the benefit of the students and godly instruction. Lord You see the evil agenda of the National Education Association (NEA) and its sister organizations in each state. We pray that teachers would wake up and walk away from them and that those organizations and those running them would be defunded.

 We pray a hedge of protection around every single campus. We declare that guns, bombs and acts of violence will not cross into a single campus this year. We declare the blood of Jesus around the borders of our schools and that any plan to disrupt, kill and destroy would be discovered and stopped before it can start. We declare our schools and cities to be safe and to fulfill a noble call. (Click here for that prayer declaration).
