During the Cold War, Russia was the main Communist threat to our freedom. Today, we can now see the reality of those "prophecies" spoken by Khrushchev to be true. So many of our government leaders, national security agencies, our media, education system, and young people, are advocating for much of the same socialist rhetoric and enslavement of our people. It's insane!!!
Obviously, we have been asleep or basking in our "freedoms", when those very freedoms were slowing being eroded away. WITH GOD, its not too late, there is still hope!. As long as we have breath and are walking on this earth, we must stand up for godly righteousness and justice, for His kingdom's sake.
Today's first article reveals how China has a grip on much of our education system, through which they turn the hearts of our children towards ungodly socialism.
The second article is a wonderful testimony of God's work 100 years ago in the area that is now Xinjiang province in China. It will inspire you to take a greater stand for Christ even in the midst of persecution.

PRAYER & PRAISE
1. Pray for the upcoming Gospel Hope Food Relief Outreach in Cambodia at the end of this month. We hope to bless 150 families. The cost of the whole outreach is $5,850 or $39 per family. This is very fruitful ministry. When the Gospel is shared, usually 50% or more of these Buddhist families accept Jesus and will be followed up by an area pastor connected with our team. We still are far from meeting this outreach budget. Pray with us and give as you are able.
3. Pray for Pastor Khan & wife, Esther, our partnering ministry in Cambodia. They serve many pastors all over Cambodia, as well as, holding outreaches to school students and villages each year.
4. Pray also for Pastor Khan's oldest daughter, Christina. They would like for her to come to the USA in order to finish out her high school studies in a Christian school and then on to college. Pray for the right doors to open for her to come this fall and for her sponsorship.
5. Pray for our China team member, Paula. She has been faithful to serve in China for almost 40 years. She has been facing health challenges and feels she should move back to the USA with her two adopted Chinese daughters, both of which have physical impairments. Much needs to be done for this to happen between now and next year. They want to buy a rural home in Tulsa OK area and must sell their China apartment and car at the right time. Paula still plans on traveling back to China and the Middle East for ministry work even after they have relocated to the USA.
6. Pray also for China team members Randy & Jessica as they serve the community around them for Jesus. Continued protection, provision and direction and for their daughter, Hannah, who has been studying in a U.S. college this year. |
