"We Must Change the Narrative" - Kim Potter, Dayton, TN
Recently, I have heard a statement in my spirit that simply won't go away. It is this: "Change the narrative."
The Power of Our Words
Once again, we are hearing (over and again) negative news concerning this pandemic. Sadly, yet again, Christians everywhere are repeating what they are hearing spoken by news media outlets, the CDC, and other sources; they are repeating what the enemy is saying. I must remind you: life and death are in the power of the tongue, and we eat the fruit of our lips (see Proverbs 18:21). There is great power in our words. Therefore, we must be careful what we say, and what we repeat.
The Bible teaches us how to speak and what to say. In Joel 3:10 we are told, "Let the weak say, I am strong." And in Mark 11:23 it says, "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."
