It's time to read George Orwell again. Some 1984. Some Animal Farm. We're seeing his novels unfold in real time. Many don't recognize it because it looks different. Totalitarianism has happened before, in different ways, and under different circumstances. This confuses people. They expect history to conform to the past literally. It never does so because the plot, setting, and characters in the play are new. Times change.

Too many on the right still suffer with a case of Lack of Imagination. They don't want to see what's before their eyes because if they do, it will require action, and that, too, is a discomforting thought. It's easier to pretend.  READ MORE >>>
